Firstly, this makes me extremely angry. So I’ll start with that. You’re valid in your feelings that this is not okay.
I had a very similar experience in a previous relationship, so I can relate. I chose to come off the pill (and all birth control) when I was in my early 20s after being on it for seven to eight years because, like you, it made me feel terrible. In my case, he wasn’t overtly angry, but he would make complaints or just be generally difficult about having to use a condom. I got such an ick at his behavior that it made me start to resent him. It was one of the reasons we ultimately broke up.
