Today’s essay is by Diem’s co-founder, Emma Bates.

But first, here’s what else people are talking about on Diem:

  1. I’m an EFT tapping practitioner - ask me anything about this funky practice 🫶✨

  2. How do I do affirmations when I'm very cynical and feel stupid doing them

  3. Second time pregnant and dealing with thigh chafing for the first time in my life. What are your fave solutions and products?

  4. Curiosity Question from a MTF...

  5. Has anyone ever had fungal rash between your boobs?

I’m going to be honest, it’s kinda… weird? Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing I love more than to listen to a wedding speech, but weddings are such intimate events. I don’t understand why it’s become normal for people to have to invite (and pay for) strangers they don’t know.
