Hi!
Emma, Diem’s co-founder here.
I’m excited to let you know about a super cool new feature that’s now live in the Diem app. Introducing: Diem AI Lenses.
Diem AI Lenses enable you to search with a different perspective. You can now ask questions of leading experts and some of your fave creators all via Diem. Ask them anything and your search result will feature their opinions, content from across the internet, sources they personally trust. Cool, right? Over the news few weeks, we’ll be introducing you to our Lens creators as they go live in the app. Up next: celebrity trainer Kirsty Godso. Ask Kirsty here for advice about fitness, workout routines, and wellbeing!
What supplements do you take daily?
The supplement world is overwhelming and honestly quite exhausting to navigate. I prefer a “less is more” approach, personally, and try to only take things that my body isn't getting enough of or can't get from my daily food intake. These are the supplements I take daily and why:
Women need to prioritise their protein intake to help support their hormones. My favorite protein that I use daily is a brand called Made Of that has a super clean grass fed NZ whey protein isolate. 25 grams of protein per scoop and no bad ingredients! I personally love just mixing it with water and making my famous protein water.
Magnesium!! Let's face it, we're stressed and struggling to sleep and often not recovering well because of it. I am obsessed with Magnesium Breakthrough by Bioptimizers. It has 7 different types of magnesium in the formula and really is a game changer for a recharging sleep.
Fatty15 is an essential fatty acid that most of us aren't getting enough of/any from our daily food intake. I swear I've noticed a difference in my skin and sleep since I started taking it two years ago!
"I'm consistent with my workouts but I'm not seeing any changes, help!"
The mystery of being a woman! Is it my hormones? My nutrition? My workouts? We've all been there when we've hit a roadblock with our results. There's no one straight answer for this as we're all unique, but there's often some common factors involved. More often than not, we might be consistent but we've become so routine in our training that we're actually not challenging our body enough or in the right way to get new results. Following a program that gradually increases in intensity and variety is important to help your body make change. If you think lifting weights in the gym isn't for you, you might actually be missing what your body needs.
