I kind of feel like figuring out and working out on romantic relationships is more prominent in our culture than working out friendships, or maybe it's just me projecting!
I 100% feel the same way — we place so much time, effort and energy into romantic / family relationship, but tend to neglect our friendships a lot more. I started to notice this more as I got older. It seems that everyone sort of moves on from friendships to focus on their careers, getting engaged and married, having babies, starting a family, and issues that you would normally work out over a coffee start to seem “small” when you have other things going on. With that being said, I really feel it’s a pity that we do this, because friendship is such a big foundation for life!
